Sonya Garza holds the position of Administrator and Chief Compliance Officer for Superior Home Health and Superior Hospice. She proudly has planted her roots in the Rio Grande Valley area to best serve her community. Sonya has been a pivotal figure for her knowledge in the Compliance sector of the health care industry for the last 17 years. Her background consists of daily monitoring, quality assurance, coding and documentation as well as upholding the latest rules and regulations.

Sonya works closely with the Agencies consultants to ensure Superior is always at the forefront of industry standards to ensure that coding, documentation, training, education and regulatory procedures are up to date.

Furthermore, Sonya’s experience has established her as an educational leader in the home health and hospice arena. She acknowledges the need for continued education and upholding compliance within the health care industry. 

Sonya currently resides in Edinburg, Texas with her family. She enjoys going to the movies, traveling, and spending time with her family.
